Cyn Kitchen Fitch / Associate Professor
Cyn writes across the genres of fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Recent work appears in such places as Poetry South, Mojave River Review, American Writers Review, Spry, Still, The Mom Egg, K’in, Abyss & Apex, Redheaded Stepchild and Fourth River. The editors of Poetry South nominated her poem “Is Like” for a 2018 Pushcart Prize.
Cyn received her B.A. from Knox and her MFA in Writing from Spalding University. She is the author of Ten Tongues, a collection of short stories, published in 2010. Her teaching interests are creative nonfiction and fiction as well as late 20th and 21st century literature with an emphasis on the literature of the American South.
