Nicholas Regiacorte / Associate Professor


Nick Regiacorte received his B.A. in English from Roanoke College and his M.F.A. in poetry writing from the University of Iowa.  His poems have appeared in Denver Quarterly14 Hills, and New Orleans Review, among others. His unpublished manuscript of poems was a finalist for Sarabande Press’s Kathryn A. Morton Prize in 2002, Marsh Hawk’s Poetry Prize in 2007, and New Issues Poetry Prize in 2008. Another manuscript, Machigonne, was a finalist at Cleveland State. He is currently working on more poems. His teaching interests include modern poetry, poetry writing, prosody, and nonfiction writing.  A native of Maine, with roots in southern Italy, he may finally have settled in Galesburg, with his wife Sunshine.
